Today was a little quiet for the Stetter family. Cooper got dropped off in our room from the nursery around 6:30am and was looking a little yellow. After meeting with the pediatrician, it came back that he was slightly jaundiced. The numbers came back borderline so he had to spend the day under the UV lights in the nursery. He'll be there through the night and is done with the light treatment at 6am when they'll retest his levels. We're hopeful we'll get to see Coop a little more tomorrow and that his busy social schedule won't keep him from us too much. He did get returned for feedings though so we are a little prepared for his teen years when we'll only see him to eat.
Meanwhile, a big snowstorm is hitting CT right now so it's been pretty cool to see the snow coming down all day from the comforts of our hospital room. Should only get worse overnight so we're grateful to be warm and safe at the hospital with the little guy slumbering just down the hall.
Morning Cooper! Little guy was delivered to our room at 6:30am, giving us almost 7 hours of sleep which we LOVED

Cooper seems pretty fascinated with his dad
And then promptly falls asleep
